- Customer Obsession instead of, for example, competitor obsession, technology obsession, product obsession, or business model obsession. Not just listening to customers, but inventing on their behalf.
- Eager to invent and pioneer because customers are always dissatisfied, even when they think they’re happy. They actually do want a better way but don’t know yet what that should be.
- Long-term oriented thinking in 5 to 7-year time frames. If you start to think that way, it changes how you spend your time and improves your ability to look around corners.”
