The Rise of Streaming

Video streaming in US households has surged during the COVID-19 pandemic. Streaming’s share of total TV time reached 23% for the week of March 16, 2020, compared to 14% in the same week a year earlier.

Further, the time spent streaming (as measured by billions of minutes) increased by 120%.
