Amazon and Slack Join Forces

Under a deal announced yesterday:

• Amazon employees will have access to Slack’s workplace collaboration tools

• Slack will revamp its video-calling feature to take advantage of Amazon Chime

• Slack will pay AWS at least $425M over a five-year period

• Developers will have the ability to manage 175+ AWS services within Slack
