MacKenzie Scott gives billions—again

In 2019, after receiving her settlement from her divorce from Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott signed “The Giving Pledge.” She promises to give away 99% of her $49 billion net worth before she dies.

Since June 2021, Scott has donated $3.86 billion to 465 non-profit organizations, with a total of $12 billion donated since 2019. Scott’s gifts are made with no restrictions, trusting the organizations’ leadership to determine how best to use the funds.
