Michelin stars are a rating system to grade restaurants on their quality. The French tire company Michelin created the Michelin Guide in 1900 to help the growing number of motorists plan their trips. At the time, they used cars like the 1903 Beliet and the 1912 Lorraine-Dietrich.

Three stars – exceptional cuisine that is worth a special journey
