There are massive differences in the greenhouse gas emissions (CO2-equivalents) of different foods. The chart below shows the kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions per one kilogram of food product produced. For example, producing 1 kilogram of beef emits 59.6 kilograms of greenhouse gases.
