Walmart: +200,000
Home Depot: +184,000
UPS: +142,000
Google: +119,000
Apple: +94,000
Microsoft: +91,000
FedEx: +85,000
Tesla: +70,000
Facebook: +65,000
Salesforce: +58,000
Nike: +35,000
Disney: +34,000
Amazon’s headcount grew by 1,400,000, compared to the other thirteen companies’ combined total of 1,411,000.
I would be curious to see the ratio of additional headcount to increased revenue and/or profit.
