Ellenore Angelidis worked at Amazon for 13 years, from 2005 to 2018.

In her experience, Amazon uses the Leadership Principles to decide who to hire, which project was green lit, or who received a promotion.

She noticed she was using the Leadership Principles outside of work:

• Recommended them to her children when working on school projects

• I shared them with board members of a non-profit organization

• Informed mentees she was career coaching
