To pre-rinse or not to pre-rinse dishes?
Remove large pieces of food but don’t hand-rinse your dishes before loading them into the dishwasher. No pre-rinsing is required.
Dishwashers save water, especially if you run them with a full load.
A modern dishwasher uses 4 gallons (15 liters) of water per load.
A sink faucet uses about 4 gallons every two minutes.

Confession from Danny: I enjoy doing dishes; I consider it more of a hobby than a chore. Until today, I used to be a pre-rinser. Not anymore—this fact saved me water and time!

I must stop pre-rinsing my dishes from now on
I'm vindicated!!! All these years of NOT pre-rinsing (and having my dishes clean)! Love this one!
