How Americans view climate change
Combatting global climate change ranks relatively low on the public’s priority list, with deep partisan division:
65% of Democrats say it should be a top priority for Biden and Congress this year, compared to 11% of Republicans.
Views also differ by age. Adults under 30 are the only age group in which a majority (54%) say climate change should be a top priority.

I image it's because those of us over 30 have been hearing about climate change since we were kids, as well as our parents and grandparents. The fearmongering we've heard all our lives doesn't fit reality.
Don't get me wrong, we need to be responsible how we treat our world. Just make sure we aren't being hypocritical (using private jets for climate conferences, using other countries for oil resulting more pollution and no control over environmental standards there)
