When I grow up…
Kids are more likely to aspire to be the next YouTube star rather than the next person in space. A survey of 3,000 kids in the US, UK, and China asked, “what do you want to be when you grow up?”
In the US and UK, children are about three times as likely to want to be YouTubers compared to astronauts. In China, being an astronaut tops the chart followed by being a teacher.
Bonus: 86% of children aged 8 to 12 say they are interested in space exploration.
