A precursor to taking risks
“If you’re an entrepreneur, you take risks. One of the foundational things to be able to take risks is to have support … from mentors or from somebody who loves you. This builds up and allows you to jump off into uncharted terrain and enables you to do something new.
I certainly had this support system when I started Amazon. Somebody has to step into your life and provide this kind of support, whether from a parent, grandparent, family friend, or a teacher.”
