When We are Criticized

“What I preach at Amazon to all of our employees is that when we are criticized, there is a simple process that you need to go through.

First, you look yourself in the mirror and decide, is your critic right? Do you agree? Are we doing something wrong? If you are, change!

If you look yourself in the mirror and decide that your critic is wrong, then do not change. Do the right thing and have a deep keel.”
