Minimalist UX Design Tips
User Experience (UX) Designers are behind the scenes making it easier for us to interact with software. Here are three tips for minimalist design:
Use fewer words.
Do: Create an account
Don’t: Create a new account
Do: Add a verification method
Don’t: Add an additional verification method
Choose simpler phrasing.
Do: Someone tried to access your account.
Don’t: A sign-in attempted to access your account.
Don’t repeat what visual elements already say.
Visual aspects of UI (user interface) components tell the customer a lot. You don’t need to write “Something went wrong” in an error message.
