Nothing lasts forever: Advice from kids

Sometimes the best place to look for words of wisdom is out of the mouths of kids. 

Highlights, a beloved children’s magazine that has been publishing and responding to kids’ letters for 75 years, has seen an uptick in submissions during the pandemic. 

Eliza, age 9, has an important reminder for readers of her poem:

Nothing Lasts Forever

You might think School will never reopen

And you might just sit around moping

But I know better

Nothing lasts forever!”
