CEO pay has skyrocketed

In 1965, CEOs made 21x the average worker's pay. By 2020, they made 351x.

In 2020, a CEO at one of the top 350 firms in the U.S. was paid $24 million on average. More than 80% of those CEOs’ pay is stock-related (e.g. stock awards based on growth goals).
