The 10,000 Year Clock

In the mountains of Texas, there is a 500 foot (150 meters) tall clock built to run for 10,000 years. It is designed to be a symbol of long-term thinking.

The clock’s creation is funded by Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon, and is built on his property. The clock is currently under construction and does not have a completion date scheduled. It is planned to be open to the public once it is ready.
